Limited Recruitment for Senior High School Teachers Announced by Education Minister

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, has revealed that there will be a limited recruitment drive for teachers in Senior High Schools. The announcement, made via his Facebook page on July 30, states that this recruitment process will begin next week.

The Minister encouraged aspiring teachers to stay updated for further details about the application process and the specific subjects that will be prioritized in this hiring initiative.

“I’m pleased to announce that a limited recruitment drive for high school teachers will commence next week. Stay tuned for more details on how to apply and the specific areas of focus for this recruitment,” Dr. Adutwum posted.

This announcement follows the Ministry of Health's recent declaration of a recruitment campaign for 15,200 nurses and midwives. Starting Monday, August 5, 2024, the Ministry of Health will begin accepting applications, following financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance.

Interested candidates for the healthcare positions are required to apply via the Ministry of Health’s online portal. Applications must be submitted by Friday, August 23, 2024. The Ministry has stressed that the application process is free and cautions applicants against paying any fees to third parties claiming to assist with the process.
