Sarkodie, has ignited debate on social media following a post on his Facebook page.
On March 5, he asked his Facebook fans, SarkNation, if they wanted to own a share of any of his songs and earn royalties on them.
The 'Countryside' hitmaker posted his message after an original post asking followers what they wanted the rapper to do for them.
“SarkNation interested in owning shares in one Sarkodie Track and earn royalties?” the rapper asked in his Facebook post.
This post is getting a lot of positive reactions, even though the rapper is yet to put his idea into action.
One Facebook user commented "Wow! This is what I have been waiting to see our celebrities do. Give your fans ways to earn, too.
