Say "Yes" to these things if you want a "Regret free life ."

Do you find yourself asking hypothetical questions like: Why did I make that statement? Why did I take that route? This literally means you regret something you have done or not done. This makes you feel guilty within yourself.

Feeling remorseful remains constant in our lives so far as life goes on. Regrets can come out of doing something bad which hurts us or other people. We may sometimes feel remorseful for things we have no control over.

We all want to live a life void of regrets. Here are somethings you should say "yes" to if you want a regret free life.

 1. Take that unplanned vacation.

One of life's greatest pleasures is traveling. The world is a much larger place than your local area.

There has never been a time when I've regretted saying yes to an unplanned trip as someone who has built a living from traveling (I've gone to about 100 countries!). You'll always remember these experiences, whether they were in Paris, Namibia, or the Himalayas via helicopter. Therefore, venture outside because there is a lot to discover. But regret-free doesn't necessarily entail major events. Here are some additional things you ought to accept more frequently.

2. Stop avoiding your mother.

Moms occasionally have a knack of irritating us or simply phoning when we least expect it. However, she is a wealth of wisdom and direction. Did you also know that mothers have healing abilities? One study found that hearing your mother's voice increases your body's production of the hormone oxytocin, which is used to heal wounds.

3.Go to the neighborhood event

When did you last interact with your neighbors and friends? Due of the crowds, it is simple to stay away from festivals, local fairs, and farmer's markets. But what if you responded "yes"? Reconnect with old friends, network with influential people in your area, and discover new enterprises. Never before has there been a greater method to feel more bonded.

4. Talk to strangers.

Dangerous stranger! How frequently were you exposed to this as a child?

Many of us are wary of making new friends because we have spent centuries being terrified of strangers. Because of this, 12.1% of Africans suffer from a social anxiety disorder. Yet avoiding people means passing up opportunities.  By enlarging your social circle, you may combat that. Find your soul partner, create a professional network, or make new acquaintances. Only when you say "yes" to reaching out does it take place.

5. Reconnect with old friends

We occasionally lose touch with the people we value the most. So why not go out on a mission to learn more about your past?

No, we're not talking about DMing your ex. We're talking about contacting former classmates and coworkers online.

6. Be part of that group picture.

Ever felt like you don't look too good or hot today to join the others take a pic?

Relax, since in 20 years, no one will be concerned about those flaws. You won't recall anything else besides the event and the company you had. We lose memories with each year that goes by. Don't let that anxiety cause you to miss out on those priceless moments.

7. Instead of staying at home, go out for a while.

Too worn out from being a grownup to venture out? Breaking news: We are all exhausted, and things won't get much better. Everyone needs some downtime with a movie and some food to unwind. You're missing out if this is your go-to, though.

Say "yes" to the cocktail date despite your tiredness. You never know what could occur!

8. Listen to adults.

Anyone who has lost a loved one regrets not getting more information about their pasts from them. Experience and knowledge are permanently lost with each death.

Listen to an adult if he or she frequently discusses their past experiences. By telling stories and giving sound advice, you may preserve the legacies of others while avoiding their mistakes. Additionally, you can pass this on to your future children.

9. Don't hesitate to do a favor

A stranger walks up to you and tells you he needs some money to buy food. You feel good when you help him right?  A great approach to feel good about yourself is to do a favor. Additionally, it provides a platform for building stronger bonds and new memories. Naturally, you shouldn't accept every favor. That will only make you being taken advantage of.  A life tip for figuring out who your true friends are is to do and ask for favors.

10. Step outside your comfort zone.

The comfort zone has that name for a reason. It will be uncomfortable to push yourself past your comfort zone, but if you only do that, you'll never experience anything new or grow. Fear is healthy. Fear is normal. We avoid death because of fear. But it doesn't assist us in leading regret-free lives.
