A 27-year-old male is accused of defiling a 13-year-old Girl at Choice in the Weija area of the Kasoa neighborhood in the Central Region's Awutu Senya East District.
According to information acquired, the suspect came to the victim's mother to buy Gari and Beans but failed to pay the price because he didn't have any physical cash on him.
As a result, the victim was urged to go with the suspect to get the money since he claimed to be taking money out of his Momo account while, in reality, he was planning to defile e the young girl.
According to reports, the suspect took the victim to his residence, shut the door, applied cream to his private part, covered the girl's mouth, and had an intercourse with her on a bench until he noticed she was bleeding. To halt the girl's bleeding, he slipped a toilet roll inside her genitals. The man has escaped.
According to a medical report, the girl's sexual part has suffered considerable damage, making it impossible for her to walk.
She was originally taken for treatment to the Weija Government Hospital but was later moved to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
A manhunt has been started for the culprit while the case has been reported to the Weija Police Station for investigation.
Grace, the victim's mother, pleaded with the authorities to aid in the arrest and prosecution of the culprit.
She also begged sympathetic Ghanaians to help pay for her medical expenses.
