The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the provisional results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates in Ghana. The results are now available for candidates and can be accessed online. To facilitate the process, WAEC will provide login details to school heads, enabling them to retrieve their students' results securely.
Candidates are encouraged to access their results via the WAEC online platform. However, the Council has issued a strong warning against fraudsters who claim they can "upgrade" results for a fee. WAEC stresses that all results are secure, and their authenticity can be verified through the official WAEC results verification system. Candidates can use the WAEC OR code to confirm the legitimacy of their results.
WASSCE 2024 Performance Overview
A total of 460,611 candidates from 1,003 schools participated in the WASSCE 2024. Among these, 212,954 were male and 247,657 were female, reflecting a 2.66% increase from the previous year’s candidate figure of 448,674. WAEC continues to maintain strict standards to ensure the integrity of the results, and candidates are urged to be vigilant about fraud and rely only on official channels for result verification.
