John Dumelo, an actor and politician, graduated with a master's degree in law from the University of Ghana, Legon. He has now earned three master's degrees.
On his Instagram page, Mr. Dumelo posted an image of himself wearing his academic gown along with the announcement.
“I graduated with a Masters Degree in Law (Natural Resources) from the University of Ghana law school today. To God be the Glory!! #idey4u #3rdmasters #PraiseGod #UGCongregation,” he said on his Instagram page.
In the 2020 general elections, John Dumelo, a farmer and philanthropist, faced Lydia Seyram Alhassan for the parliamentary seat in Ayawaso West Wuogon.
In a fierce race, he received 37,778 votes, while NPP candidate Lydia Seyram Alhassan received 39,851 votes.
John Dumelo is also getting ready to run for office in the elections that are scheduled for December. He wrote on Facebook earlier this year that he was hopeful about winning the next elections.
“2024 is a must-win in Ayawaso West Wuogon. As a parliamentary candidate in 2020, we closed the gap from 10,000 to under just 1,900 through hard work. It's time to take the seat. Let's all get involved,” Dumelo wrote on his Facebook page
